What's the difference between Hudson
Forest Play vs. Day Camp?
Both programs share the same core values: Joy, Respect, and Community.
Each program is designed with children in mind, honoring their needs, valuing the importance of play, and nurturing relationships among peers. By fostering a sense of belonging, both programs create an environment where children can build lasting memories and meaningful connections.

Hudson Forest Play
Play. Explore. Learn. Nature's Classroom Awaits!
In our year-round program, teachers collaborate with children through an emergent curriculum, where children lead the way in their own learning journey. Through discovery, exploration, creativity, and curiosity, we foster a deep connection with nature. Whether it's playing with natural materials or learning outdoors, we embrace every opportunity, snow, rain or shine.
We offer two age groups: 2-6 years old and 7-12 years old. With a maximum of 12 students and a 1:6 teacher-to-student ratio, children receive personalized attention in a multi-age setting. Two experienced forest school teachers guide the way as we explore, learn, and grow together in nature.
Hudson Day Camp
Play. Engage. Interact. A Day Camp Full of Fun!
Our camp counsellors design and organize themed activities and games, providing a structured environment where children can interact and follow clear expectations. Whether indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather, we make sure every day is packed with fun and adventure. Hudson Day Camp is offered during spring break and summer holidays.
Children ages 5-12 are grouped by age, with two camp counsellors leading the way. With a maximum of 25 children and a 1:10 or 1:12 ratio, depending on the age group, each child receives the attention and support they need to enjoy their camp experience.
